Steps to membership at Rittenhouse Baptist Church

You can make a commitment to Rittenhouse Baptist Church as your local church home through one of the following ways: 

• By Baptism: Those individuals who have become a Christian by placing their trust in Jesus Christ, or who have previously trusted in Jesus Christ but have not been baptized by immersion in water can make arrangements for baptism.  Baptism is a statement of faith in Christ as well as a symbol of Jesus’ death and is done as an act of obedience to following Jesus Christ.

• By Transfer of Letter: Those individuals who are members of another Baptist Church.

• By Statement of Faith in Christ: Those individuals who are members of a church of like faith and belief and have been previously baptized by immersion.

• Attend the RBC New Members Class: All our new members are strongly encouraged to attend these classes to help them better know what RBC is about and how we can work together to accomplish God’s purposes in their lives and this church.
